Retail Property Partnership Program
The Retail Property Partnership Program is a flexible bundle of useful tools to help plan a program of productivity improvement for your centre.
The program works to help in these ways:
- Program framing session to understand centre challenges and set the plan
- Onsite Retailer Coaching – 6 days scheduled over the year.
- Asset team support via phone & email to assist in solving immediate challenges
- Workshops to target skills gaps for retailers and asset teams
- Industry Offsite - Retail Reflections Retreat – Challenges, Choices & Changes Informed by Global and Local Trends.
Program Framing Session – we take a few hours of your time to listen and understand what is happening in and around your centre, to define the challenges that we aim to solve within the 12 months and engage the asset prior to kick starting the program. This session allows us to collectively set the goals and understand the issues that we aim to tackle and share in the backstory but also complete the planning that will frame up success.
Onsite Retailer Coaching – post our framing session we will have identified the retailers that are the focus of our attention and we will provide a tool to help introduce them to the support they can expect from our team. A schedule of days will be set over the year to suit the needs of the centre and the retailers. Our informal yet informative way of working with retailers helps to quickly build a relationship based on empathy and understanding. We are then able to get to the core of what is really driving or limiting a business owner and what is needed to guide them around obstacles or achieve productivity improvement.
The time invested with each business will be structured to ensure we can keep them focused on a series of important projects that will help them deliver on their goal over the year. We introduce several no cost online tools to help improve their planning and business promotion – Trello as a simple project planning tool that takes the clutter out of the mind of the business owner and offers some structure and a sense of achievement as they move through their plans. The end goal is to build their toolkit and confidence to keep their business moving forward and see the need to follow the same structured plan for growth in the following financial year.
Retailers may be seen on multiple occasions over the six coaching days depending on the needs of the centre.
Asset team support via phone & email – to keep continuity between visits, our property partners are encouraged to utilise our support over the phone and email. This may be to update on retailer issues, seek quick perspective on a challenge or gain insights to guide thinking and decision making. We don’t put limits on your time as we know our clients value the knowledge and help that they can gain, and their time is always going to be used wisely.
Workshops for retailer or asset team skills gaps – the program allows you to lock in two workshops over the year that will either be targeted to helping retailers or even bringing currency to the skills and perspective of the asset team. These workshops are scheduled into the days that we are coaching in your centre. Fortunately, we are not short on workshop options as keen educators in topics from Service Experience through to Digital Optimisation, Visual Merchandising, Retail Trends and anything in-between. Our style is safely described as engaging and inclusive, as we share our passion and knowledge of the industry with a low level of formality. This helps to get great conversation started and inspire new thinking in businesses and asset teams. Determining what workshops will suit will be easier when we understand your needs.
Industry Offsite - Retail Reflections Retreat – Getting you out of your space and into ours is important to us. We are an industry of interesting people with great passion and we like to host and share updates on what drives the challenges, choices & changes impacting on the decisions we are all making. Taking time away from our Australian clients and gathering up the perspective from offshore industry events in NYC and Europe is the way we keep current. Our values are not linked our personal learning but to the sharing, this is what drives us to invest back into inspiring our clients to see opportunity through a new lens.
